The Manager, Data Management is accountable for the strategic management of staff and projects involved in the audit, evaluation and analysis for potential sharing of data entered on SAPOL Information Systems, data management services, including reviews of existing services, developments and implementation of new initiatives. Responsibility is assumed for the integrity of Police records by ensuring the development and ongoing maintenance of applicable policies and procedures as they relate to SAPOL.
The Manager, Data Management is responsible for business process improvement and the coordination and monitoring of issues and projects conducted by the Australian Criminal Intelligence Commission and other jurisdictions, and the provision of expert and timely advice on national information technology and data management issues.
Special Conditions The incumbent must hold a current Australian work eligibility status and will be subject to a criminal history check. The incumbent may be assigned to other duties at this remuneration level or equivalent. Some out of hours work and intra/interstate travel may be required. The incumbent is required to participate in SAPOL's iEngage program. ASO7 - $108,109 - $116,864 per annum.
