You will be at the forefront of our data strategy, leading the implementation of a cutting-edge Microsoft Azure data platform and lakehouse architecture. Your leadership will be crucial in uplifting our data capabilities, mentoring decentralised reporting teams and guiding our new team of data professionals to success.
Key Responsibilities: Provide strong team leadership and mentoring within the data and corporate environment;Drive the implementation of our Data Strategy and maintain buy-in from Executive and Senior Leadership teams;Plan, recruit and develop a growing team of data professionals;Manage and support the Enterprise Data & Analytics platform, including Master Data Management, Data Quality Management, Data Lab and Power BI reporting;Mentor decentralised reporting resources and enhance overall data management skills;Deliver and maintain end-to-end management reporting across multiple business units;Develop and evolve current data models, processing and integration;Provide detailed internal performance reporting and analytics;Manage relationships with technology vendors related to Data Services; andLead the Data Community of Practice.Technical Skills and Qualifications: Knowledge and experience with modern enterprise data warehouses and solutions (Azure preferred);Proven success in managing Data / Analytics teams as a Team Lead or Manager;Extensive experience with Power BI reporting and DAX functions;Strong expertise in converting data into valuable insights through dashboards and reports;Experience in analysing large data sets in a corporate environment;Understanding of DevOps release processes and CI/CD practices;Desirable: Experience with SAP technologies (BW or S/4Hana);Significant experience in leading Business Intelligence capabilities in a dispersed business environment;Strong knowledge of data analytics and its business applications;Ability to seamlessly transition between strategic vision and tactical work plans; andTeam player with excellent collaboration and consensus-building skills.How to Apply For more information or a confidential discussion please call Tyler Dewar at u&u on 0455 668 294 or email ****** quoting reference number 37425.
