Job Overview TasWater is Tasmania's sole water and sewerage provider and a major employer with high impacts on the economy, environment, and well-being of the state. We are developing our Integrated Operations workforce of the future and have an opportunity for a leader to join the team and contribute to the overall success of the organisation by enhancing operational performance. Key Responsibilities Play a key role in generating revenue by reducing debt. Oversee daily service delivery, ensuring standards are met and managing escalated customer needs. Lead teams and manage customer service projects. Prepare performance reports and maintain contact centre operations. Participate in policy development and drive alignment between teams. Manage relationships with external service providers and ensure compliance with regulatory changes. Handle escalated queries and complaints.

Qualifications To be considered for this role, you are a proven leader with experience overseeing a large, high-performing team across multiple locations. You should exhibit excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills. A professional and empathetic approach to customers is essential, as is the ability to develop and maintain strong relationships and influence outcomes. You have a strong background in revenue management, proficiency in MS Office, corporate systems, and customer billing systems, along with advanced problem-solving abilities. Knowledge of debt recovery best practices and ACCC guidelines, familiarity with TasWater's Price and Service Plan, and experience in leading organizational and cultural change are also required. A diploma or degree in Business Administration, Leadership and Management, or a similar field, or equivalent competency is desirable.
