Salary: Level 8, $144,597 - $156,598 per annum (pro-rata) (PSCA 2022)
This is a permanent full-time position commencing March 2025 The School Curriculum and Standards Authority (the Authority) is seeking to appoint a highly motivated and committed Manager with extensive curriculum knowledge to join the Curriculum, Assessment and Strategic Policy Directorate.
The Authority provides quality curriculum, assessment and standards to enable all Western Australian students to become confident, creative learners and active, informed citizens who contribute positively to society.
The Role The Manager – Curriculum and Assessment provides strategic direction in developing policy and procedures for Pre-primary to Year 12 curriculum, assessment, setting of standards, moderation, and grading in all Western Australian schools.
The Manager – Curriculum and Assessment provides strategic leadership for curriculum development, assessment support documents and moderation activities to support the Western Australian Curriculum and Assessment Outline (Kindergarten to Year 10) and the Western Australian Certificate of Education (WACE, Years 11 and 12) and will manage English, Humanities and Social Sciences and Health and Physical Education. Curriculum expertise in one of these learning areas would be an advantage. The Manager - Curriculum and Assessment will lead projects and facilitate collaborative processes between and across school systems/sectors, schools and other stakeholder organisations to share and generate ideas and monitor and review implementation processes.
