The CSN Events, Marketing and Community Support Coordinator sits within the Centre of Excellence in the CSN Customer Needs Crew. This is an exciting opportunity for a dynamic event manager with a minimum of 3 years' experience to join a strong performing team with a great people culture that delivers on RBS priorities and commitments.
A fast-paced role, no two days ever look the same. This is a great opportunity for an event manager who is looking for a role that will allow them to showcase their highly tuned experience and refined skills. The purpose of the role is to design and deliver the numerous national event programs including conferences, cultural events, and/or development days.
We also offer hybrid working with a 50% in-office connection rate.

This role sits within the Customer Service Network (CSN) Crew which is accountable for developing and delivering on the strategic roadmap for CSN. CSN refers to the branch distribution channel encompassing over 650 CBA branches and the Mobile & Premier Banking channel, with over 9,000 strong workforce of customer service, lending and relationship specialists, supported by CBA's state of the art technology and data capabilities.
Your responsibilities will be as follows but not limited to:
This is a new role on a 12 month secondment basis. The successful candidate will be able to step in and offer fresh ideas and improvement to the national suite of events. They'll:
Design and deliver end to end national event programs including developing event concepts that support strategic business goals, in collaboration with key stakeholdersBuild and manage event and project plans and lead the delivery of work to deadline at the highest qualityNurture the development of business relationships - across internal business units, external suppliers, business partners and agenciesProactively identify and implement improvements (process, value for money, contract negotiations etc) to drive greater efficiencies and effectiveness for the teamSteer enhancements to key event technology platforms to improve data management, integration and manage risk and compliance processesClosely manage and reconcile expenses and budgets and provide ROI and budget reporting against targetsAdminister supplier governance, working in conjunction with Line 1, compliance and Procurement to manage suppliers & maximise relationshipsProactively identify, understand and act on current and future risks applying CBA risk processes across all key steps of the event processWe're interested in hearing from people who have: Experience in event management in a high volume, corporate environmentExcellent project planning and time management skills, including an ability to manage multiple projects and conflicting deadlinesVery strong written and communication skills and excellent interpersonal skillsProven experience in running virtual and hybrid events and managing related production suppliersCreative, visionary and innovative thinker, who has a passion for the attendee experience and telling the strategic storyThis is a full time role on a 12 month secondment with after-hours onsite event management required as needed (flexibility arrangements in place in lieu of any after-hours time).
