The Role As a member of the Finance and Business Support senior management team, the Manager - Cost Accounting will: Provide high level strategic advice and support in relation to the financial implications of contracts, agreements, proposals and initiatives to inform Agency Executives and the Minister. Provide technical advice and support in relation to financial modelling to inform Whole of Agency and Department of Health (DoH) contract and agreement negotiation processes, including negotiations in relation to Enterprise Bargaining Agreements (EBA), compensable services and the National Health Reform Agreement (NHRA). Develop and implement financial allocation models and policies to inform budgetary processes and promote financial efficiency and sustainability throughout the Agency. Provide high level advice and support in relation to the development, maintenance and improvement of financial systems and processes. Lead the Cost Accounting Section in becoming a best practice environment.
