We are looking for a Manager of Corporate Development to join our dynamic team on a permanent basis. This role will be critical in providing mine technical and geological expertise to identify acquisition opportunities, strategic transactions, and opportunistic investments. This includes conducting detailed evaluations on the feasibility of development plans, and translating geological and mine engineering scenarios into financial models.
You will have the ability to blend your technical knowledge with your stakeholder engagement skills to be able to negotiate effectively with both internal and external stakeholders.

This role involves working between our offices in Kwinana and the Perth CBD, with some international travel.
Responsibilities:
Provide technical expertise in the identification of new investment opportunities and provide detailed evaluation on the feasibility of development plans. Translate geological / mine engineering upside and downside into a financial model input, in collaboration with the wider team. Assist the Head of Corporate Development in developing and analysing strategic plans and identify opportunities for strategic partnerships and investments. Lead and assist with the end-to-end merger and acquisition process including target identification, due diligence, negotiations, planning and deal management activities. Utilise Lean tools and methodologies to identify and act on opportunities to continuously improve and update acquisition execution processes. Undertake market research and analysis of trends, competitors, industry and customers to support strategic planning. Help build strong long-term relationships with key industry participants including existing and prospective customers, trade associations, state and federal agencies and industry experts. Identify and act on opportunities to improve collaboration and effectiveness within the team and wider organisation. ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS
Tertiary qualification in Geology coupled with Accounting, Commerce, Economics, Finance or Engineering. Advanced skills in geo-computing, 3D modelling and interpretation, resource evaluation, drilling and sampling programs and technical reporting. Knowledge and experience in corporate development, geotechnical, merger and acquisitions or project finance with demonstrated strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Strong financial modelling skills, commercial acumen, personal initiative, deal structuring, and valuation techniques. Demonstrated ability to think strategically and creatively, exercise judgment in decision-making and challenge existing practices to identify justifiable improvement opportunities. Excellent stakeholder engagement skills and ability to effectively engage at all levels of an organisation with offices in multiple countries, languages and time-zones. We offer:
