We truly believe our one firm approach achieves the best outcomes for clients, so you're encouraged to collaborate across practice teams to find solutions.About the roleAs a Manager in the Core Tax team, the diverse spread of advice you will provide could relate to income taxes, capital gains taxes and corporate taxes in the context of structuring transactions and/or organisations to appropriately manage their taxation affairs.Key responsibilitiesPrepare tax consulting advice on a range of issues; for example: division 7a, trust loss rules, capital gains tax, structuring and corporate tax matters.Research current legislation and draft and finalise letters of advice.Cultivate and manage client relationships and collaborate with internal stakeholders.Work with relevant authorities (ATO) to efficiently resolve tax-related queries/audits.Project manage jobs and specific tasks when required.Review end of financial year tax compliance documents for larger complex clients.End of year tax planning.Coach, support, and lead team members, delivering technical training.Who we're afterHere are some of the key qualifications, skills and personal attributes we're looking for.
