We empower you to think differently as we strive to be an employer of choice.About the roleThe Manager Contracts and Procurement, reporting to the Project Director, will oversee contracts, procurement, and supply functions, focusing on developing frameworks and policies. Key Responsibilities include:Lead the end-to-end management of contracts & procurement, ensuring alignment with objectives, project timelines, and compliance standards.Lead and mentor the contracts and procurement team, ensuring growth and development of internal capability and performance.Preparation, evaluation, recommendation and award of bid request packagesDeveloping and implementing robust contract & procurement management processes and systems.Ensuring all contracts are compliant with relevant laws, regulations, and internal policies.Collaborate closely with key internal stakeholders to develop project contracting strategies that ensure the best commercial outcomes for De Grey Mining, and provide expert advice and guidance on contractual matters.Drive the negotiation and administration of contracts to achieve optimal commercial outcomes while mitigating associated risks.Build and maintain strong relationships with contractors and suppliers, ensuring clear communication, adherence to performance benchmarks, and resolving issues efficiently.About YouWe are seeking an experienced leader who will be responsible for ensuring effective negotiation, documentation, and compliance of contracts. The successful candidate will establish best practices, develop category strategies, and maintain key relationships.
