About the area Campus Management oversees UWA's campus and property portfolio, providing strategic planning, property management, facilities operations, sustainability, and safety services. The team supports UWA's academic mission through the effective management of major projects, assets, and campus operations.
About the opportunity Develop and implement UWA's contractor management framework, focusing on safety, compliance, and high-performance standards across all departments. Oversee and maintain the UWA authority-to-work and high-risk work permitting processes, managing audits, inspections, and compliance activities. Collaborate across departments to enhance contractor management systems, including developing and tracking key performance indicators and implementing workflows within Rapid Global technology. About you Relevant degree or equivalent qualification in safety or a related field. Substantial experience in safety roles within large, complex facilities, ideally in electrical, mechanical, or construction projects. Demonstrated expertise in incident investigations, reporting, and implementing corrective actions. Advanced understanding of Occupational Health and Safety legislation and its application. Strong organisational and communication skills, with proficiency in a range of computing tools including MS Office. Special Requirements Availability for some after-hours work as needed.
