About the OpportunityWe are seeking an experienced Manager Communications and Engagement to lead our efforts in delivering strategic advice and operational excellence in communications and engagement services that contribute to outstanding outcomes, sound decisions, and creating great places for our residents to live, work and play.
As the Manager Communications and Engagement, you will be responsible for leading a high-performing business unit that provides strategic communications and community engagement services.
This is a newly created role, offering a unique opportunity to shape and influence the direction of our communications and engagement strategies within the Council.
You will oversee the day-to-day management, safety, budget, and performance of the unit, while contributing to the achievement of our organisational strategic imperatives and objectives.
