Seqwater are not just delivering water, they are driving innovation, growth and transformation to secure the future of water across Southeast Queensland.The PositionAs the Manager - Commercial and Contract Management, you will play a pivotal role in enabling business success through your leadership of Seqwater's Commercial and Contract Management function in the delivery of the capital program.With a focus on partnering approaches and value optimisation, you will lead the transformation of Seqwater's commercial and contract management functions ensuring best value is achieved for Seqwater and its stakeholders.You'll be working on some of the most high-profile water infrastructure projects in the industry, helping to secure Water for Life for generations to come!Key responsibilities include:Lead and mentor a team of specialists fostering a high-performance culture.Develop strategies, practices and procedures that will enhance the commercial management of major capital contracts to ensure best value for Seqwater.Provide guidance in developing commercial framework/s and contracting models required for the successful delivery of projects, including head construction contracts, professional services, supply arrangements, property and asset acquisition.Lead the planning, development, and implementation of fit for purpose commercial and contract arrangements which drive value for money across capital projects.Manage commercial and performance risks and facilitate successful delivery of projects.Drive functional transformation through system, process and capability improvement ensuring agility and adaptability.Lead the negotiation of various agreements and facilitate the resolution of contract conflicts or issues that could impact effective service delivery or create undue risk for Seqwater.Cultivate strong partnerships and collaborative relationships with key internal and external stakeholders.Skills & ExperienceDemonstrated knowledge of contemporary commercial and contract management approaches.Strong commercial acumen with demonstrated application in strategic thinking and hands-on operational execution.Significant experience leading commercial and contract management functions in a large, complex, multi-disciplinary environment.Highly developed communication and negotiation skills with exceptional stakeholder management.Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to utilise data to drive insights to inform evidence-based decision making.Excellent time management, prioritisation and organisation skills.Ability to drive improved Enterprise outcomes through collaborative approaches and effective senior management engagement.Tertiary qualifications in business, commerce, legal or related discipline.ApplyClick 'Apply' or contact Laura Gibbons, Associate Director – Procurement & Supply Chain on ****** / 0411 193 234 for more information.
