Manager Civil Delivery and Operations Barkly Tennant Creek, Katherine & Northern Australia NT Senior Administrative Officer 1 Remuneration Package $150,506 - $167,941 (including salary $128,551 - $143,611) Transport and Civil Services – Civil Delivery Full time fixed vacancy in Tennant Creek, Northern Territory for 6 months Apply your well-developed knowledge of road and civil industry; constructions and maintenance, and project management processes.
Lead the team delivering large Civil Infrastructure programs in the Barkly Region.
Provide high-level specialist construction advice and leadership.
Accommodation support, work vehicle and relocation assistance.
Your key responsibilities include managing the design, planning and delivery of civil works programs and projects in the Barkly Region, leading a small team to project manage assigned civil works, and ensuring the delivery of projects to a high standard.
In addition, you will provide oversight of the Civil team to undertake asset inspections, and prepare project proposals, technical reports and estimate of costs.
You will also be required to undertake the role of Senior Project Manager and Superintendent's representative in the administration of contracts.
Ideally, you will have high-level knowledge and experience in the road and civil industry; construction and maintenance techniques and practices, project management and government procurement processes.
Your demonstrated knowledge and experience in the delivery of Capital Works, Minor New Works and Repairs and Maintenance and relevant legislation will be invaluable.
As will your high-level written and oral communications skills, and your proven relationship building and influencing skills.
