The ANZ Channel Sales Manager must develop relationships with executives in our key partners, set direction and execute our ANZ channel strategy, and look for opportunities to grow our business through improved channel engagement.ExperienceBachelor's Degree required (A combination of education and experience will be considered.
)Minimum of 5 years' experience as a Channel Sales Manager with a successful track record of leading a team.Successful sales experience with a channel-focused company.Proven track record of successful selling through the channel in a competitive marketplace.Knowledge of virtualization technology; experience with VMware and/or Citrix is a plus.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Ability to work independently with limited direction in a fast-paced environment; must be a high-energy, motivated self-starter.Ability to adapt to changes in roles and responsibilities.Experience working extensively with Salesforce.com.Ability to analyze data and make recommendations.Ability to travel 50% of the time within assigned territory.Duties and ResponsibilitiesLeading a team of channel, inside channel and Inside distribution managers.Contributing to the ANZ region's revenue targets and goals by successful engagement in the channel.Developing and executing the ANZ channel plan across our four sales engines - SMB, Commercial, Enterprise and Cloud.Analyzing market dynamics in an effort to maximize existing successes and to create new sales growth opportunities.Working in collaboration with global teams to share and define best practices.Establishing and reporting on metrics to measure team performance; correcting deficiencies where necessary.Attracting, retaining, developing, coaching and managing a team of channel, inside channel and Inside distribution managers within a defined territory.Recruiting, hiring and training team members; fostering a successful and positive team environment.Working closely with the Veeam leadership team to drive collaboration, contribution, and success across the ANZ region.Developing the ANZ channel such that it is recognized as best practice, with high-performing partnerships that demonstrate strong loyalty and affinity to Veeam.Reporting Relationship and AccountabilityThis position reports to the Director Channel Sales, Australia and New Zealand.Veeam Software is an equal opportunity employer and does not tolerate discrimination in any form on the basis of race, color, religion, gender, age, national origin, citizenship, disability, veteran status or any other classification protected by federal, state or local law.
