• Lead and manage the operations of the Business Systems team to develop, maintain, enhance, administer, and support Crown Law's business systems and information technology services.
• Ensure IT service management is highly client-focused and aligned with ITIL practices, and support continual improvement.
• Lead the design and delivery of changes and updates to business systems and applications, coordinating processes to build, test, and deploy.
• Undertake technical work required to ensure high availability and performance of systems including monitoring, maintenance, and problem management.
• Consult with business stakeholders to understand technology and information management requirements and provide advice and outcomes aligned with operational strategies and ICT policies.
• Identify and evaluate opportunities for new technology solutions and system enhancements that support Crown Law's current and future business needs.
• Develop guidelines and procedures for the effective use of business systems based on principles of information management governance.
• Deliver project tasks including drafting business cases, requirements specifications, and project plans.
• Oversee organisational IT learning and communication activities, including induction training and resource development.
• Manage relationships with external suppliers and Justice IT Services, and liaise, consult, and negotiate to ensure service provision meets business requirements.
• Supervise the Business Systems Team members to deliver operational support and/or project outcomes including:
Individual performance management and development activities;Co-ordination, delegation and scheduling of work;Ensure client service standards are continuously met;Utilise effective communication skills to support a collaborative, team approach to managing work tasks.Applications to remain current for 12 months.
