My client is a reputable firm that works with a diverse group of clients which includes major household brands and iconic Australian enterprises.

Position Overview:
The role is to manage the team and the client base to ensure that a best practice approach is taken to all business services work.

Key Responsibilities:
Preparation of financial reports including trial balance and statements of financial performance and position.
Preparation of work papers and files.
Analysis of financial statements and provision of explanations of key matters.
Updating of permanent tax files.
Identification of tax compliance and planning issues.
Resolution of tax issues.
Calculation of taxable income and reconciliation to financial statements.
Preparation and finalisation of tax returns.
Completion of management account checklist.
Identification of efficiency gains on assignment.
Identification and resolution of tax planning issues.
Preparation of finance submissions.
Manage clients and the team for which you are directly responsible.
Liaise with clients in the preparation of accounts and tax returns.
Review of accounting files, income tax returns, and preparation of financial reports and budgets.
Preparation of budgets and cash flows including identifying key issues to be highlighted for discussion with the Director and client.
Weekly management of workflow of Intermediate and Senior Accountants.
Performance management, mentoring, guidance and development of team members.
Requirements:
Minimum 6 years of experience in business services and tax.
CA or CPA qualified.
Proficiency in XERO and MYOB software.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
Energetic, ambitious, and able to think strategically.
