The Community Corrections and Specialist Operations Command (CCSO) is undertaking signification transformational change and project delivery. The CCSOprogram management office (PMO) has been established to enhance CCSO project and program management capabilities, support successful execution of projects within the remit of CCSO, and align associated project efforts withstrategic goals.

Reporting to the Director, CCSO Program Delivery, the Manager, Business Integration is responsible for leading and managing the delivery and implementation of reform programs, transition and change adoption across the CCSO division ofQCS. This role will manage the ongoing governance, oversight, and reporting of the reform agenda as it relates to programs and projects, informing and supporting the enterprise view of change.
As the Manager, Business Integration you will: • Lead and manage effective governance, oversight and reporting of CCSO transformation and change as a result of programs and projects to ensure ongoing alignment with the QCS reform agenda.
• Lead and participate in coaching for change and transition management capability uplift across the organisation.
• Manage continuous improvement and integration activities to ensure ongoing alignment with the objectives of CCSO and the broader QCS reform agenda.
• Maintain oversight and ensure effective development, coordination and implementation of agreed reform activities/initiatives based on prioritisation of projects to support the achievement of the QCS's strategic priorities and reform agenda.
• Effectively assess and manage new transformation initiatives through the CCSO PMO, ensuring accurate and appropriate prioritisation of activities to support business transition, change adoption and the strategic objectives of the QCS reform agenda.
• Provide high level support to the CCSO PMO cross-functional teams with a particular focus on change and transformation adoption, and business integration across multiple changes.
• Lead and manage the effective implementation of evidence-based risk management frameworks and approaches, including escalation activities as they apply to program and project transformation and transition.
• Lead and coordinate transition program activities, including governance and decision-making frameworks across CCSO and QCS reform projects and programs.
• Manage the preparation of complex submissions and reports, briefing notes, presentations, publications and correspondence for a diverse range of stakeholders.
• Provide expert advice to senior leaders on the progress, trends, observations and risks related to the CCSO transformation and change agenda, as well as providing recommendations for continuous improvement activities to enhance business
adoption and integration.
• Manage and direct the effective use and management of the CCSO change and transition s human and financial resources to deliver services in an efficient and
commercially sustainable manner.
• Provide an whole of program approach to engagement with internal service partners, including People Capability Command, ITS, Finance and other areas.
• Develop strong working relationships and effective engagements with key internal and external stakeholders regarding risks and progress of the CCSO projects and reform initiatives, including representing QCS in a range of executive forums to promote and advance QCS priorities.
• Take an active role in communicating and translating the QCS Reform agenda for key stakeholders, in collaboration with colleagues across other Programs, Portfolios and Commands.
• Contribute to a culture which fosters collaboration, evidence-based decision making, innovation, and performance orientation, where employees are passionate about their work and take personal accountability for their actions.
• Other duties as required.
Within the context of the role responsibilities described above under, the ideal applicant will be someone who can competitively demonstrate their knowledge, skills and experiences and their suitability against the Leadership competencies for
Queensland (Individual Contributor): Vision, Results and Accountability in the context of the essential requirements for this role.
There are no mandatory qualifications for this position but a relevant qualification in change or project management would be highly desirable.
An understanding of reform in correctional environments (or other complex operational agencies) and would be highly regarded.
