Department of Treasury and FinanceJob reference: 641495Location: 5000 - ADELAIDEJob status: Long Term ContractEligibility: Open to EveryoneInitial 2-year fixed term contractFlexible working arrangementsSupportive career development opportunitiesThe Department of Treasury and Finance is located in the heart of the Adelaide CBD and has a vision to make South Australia a better place to live, work, do business and raise a family through their contribution to government policy and decision making and the provision of efficient services.Remuneration: MAS3 – Salary $127,859About the opportunity:The Information and Technology (I&T) branch plays an important role for the department and is responsible for a full suite of centrally delivered digital services, ranging from high quality support to the delivery of innovative and transformative initiatives, to assist in enabling our commitment to being a world-class Treasury.Reporting directly to the Chief Information Officer (CIO), as the Manager, Business Enablement, you will lead a small team overseeing the management of high quality, business enablement service characterised by strategic engagement with departmental branches instilling a culture of high-quality customer service and continuous improvement.Key requirements include:Tertiary qualifications or certifications in Project Management are desirable and experience in the delivery of business improvement initiatives and technology service delivery are essential.Understanding of the importance of digital as an enabler for business enablement and experience in the delivery of business improvement initiatives.Extensive experience leading the strategic planning, implementation and evaluation of critical business programs, projects and services that include the identification and delivery of fit for purpose digital technologies.Proven ability to identify operational improvements and lead change management processes to address these opportunities.High order management and leadership skills including the ability to provide broad direction to multidisciplinary teams of professionals.Experience in building and maintaining positive and mutually beneficial relationships with stakeholders, networks and partnerships to achieve collective outcomes.Overall, you will need to be a self-motivated individual with the ability to build collaborative relationships with key internal and external stakeholders and decision makers. You're a customer-focused professional that's driven to exceed expectations by providing solutions to problems.
