CSR is in the process of an exciting digital revolution and has a new opportunity for a Business Analytics Manager to join our team and be a part of our critical digital growth.
Reporting into a Head of Applications, this is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Business Analytics Manager who is looking to be part of an organisation that is going through a greenfield transformation with significant investment in their Business Analytics environment.
The overall objective of this role will be to lead and manage CSR's Data and Analytics team, designing the architecture and developing information to drive business intelligence solutions across all areas of CSR, enabling better business insights that drive significant improvement in business outcomes.
About the role: The ideal candidate for this role is someone who can see the business outcome required and proactively create a business analytical solution that supports CSR, with the help of their specialist team. This role requires excellent interpersonal skills and a consultative approach, suitable for someone seeking to utilise their strong business analytics skills or background as a data scientist, along with leadership ability, to embrace a new challenge.
Some responsibilities include but are not limited to: Lead the data analytics and reporting team, including resource allocation for projects, stakeholder management, recommendations to drive information requirements and solutions, coaching and mentoring team members. Partner and consult with business leaders across CSR in Finance, Operations, Supply, and Marketing to understand their commercial needs. Manage and oversee business analytics projects and develop strategies for operational improvements and future business initiatives. What you bring to the role: Ideally, you are a passionate Business Analytics Manager with solid experience in leading a technical team that supports an enterprise environment. Bachelor's degree in data science, technology, finance, statistics, or a quantitative field is highly desired. 5+ years of experience working across Business Analytics. Solid experience in working across a mix of enterprise Business Analytics software (SAP Hanna is highly desirable). Power BI and Microsoft Azure platform experience will be an advantage (SQL database, Data Factory, Synapse Analytics). Excellent communication and presentation skills with a proven ability to interface with business analysts and/or end users. Proven experience of leading and mentoring a team of Business Analytics developers. A background working as a Data Scientist is highly regarded.
