As part of the Payments Settlements (PS) department, and reporting to the Senior Manager, Business Delivery, you will lead a team of business analysts that are responsible for the business analysis activities of the Payments Migration workstream, related to critical payments systems for Australia including the Reserve Bank Information and Transfer System (RITS) and the Fast Settlement Service (FSS). Safe, secure and reliable settlement systems are integral to the smooth functioning of the Australian economy, and projects relating to these systems are a critical aspect of the RBA's work.About the roleThe type of work you will do will include:Lead, inspire and develop your team to achieve goals and deliver outcomes in line with the RBA's strategic priorities.Responsibility for the delivery and quality of detailed business requirements and functional specifications for the Payments Migration workstream.Liaison with key program stakeholders, communicating and collaborating effectively to play a role in successfully delivering change.This is a 2-year, fixed-term engagement.The role is based in Sydney CBD, but the successful candidate may have flexibility to also work at Bella Vista, NSW.About youTo be successful in this critical role you will possess:A demonstrated ability to lead people, work collaboratively, and foster relationships with internal and external stakeholders.Advanced understanding of the business analysis domain and knowledge of tools, methods and communication techniques to extract, develop, validate and document business requirements.Experience in the specification and testing arrangements required for mission critical systems. Experience working in critical operational industries such as banking, financial services, utilities, operational Government departments etc. would be advantageous.Proven capacity for analysis, quality written work and excellent communication skills.Demonstrated ability to learn quickly in unfamiliar and complex environments.A professional certification in business analysis and/or project management such as IIBA CBAP/ PRINCE2 would be highly regarded.Experience in IT infrastructure and network projects.
