We are seeking a Manager, Billing to oversee and lead the Billing function for our Ambulance Services. This role is critical to ensuring the timely, efficient, and accurate billing of services, while also meeting both service delivery and regulatory obligations. The Manager will be responsible for supervising the billing process, managing a team, and ensuring compliance with all relevant guidelines within the Financial Transactional Services Department.
This is a Full Time, Permanent position. While WFH/Hybrid options are available, it is essential that the successful applicant maintains a presence at Doncaster or Wendouree Business centre in line with our hybrid working model.
About the role Reporting to the Manager Financial Transactional Services, responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:
Manage and lead the Billing team responsible for service delivery and outputs impacting on AV's revenue recovery capabilities.Oversee the Billing functions and processes ensuring performance standards, compliance, audit requirements and defined targets are met, while developing solutions to any major concerns with revenue recovery and seeking to improve performance.Undertake data analysis and develop business papers for strategic and tactical decision making by analysing transactional volumes and work trends across the billing teams to identify ongoing improvement opportunities and optimisation and provide routine and ad-hoc performance reporting against KPIs and dashboard measures that meet statutory and regulatory requirements.Provide leadership, coaching and mentoring across the Billing team, fostering a culture of professional development, leadership, and continuous improvement.Regularly monitor and assess performance, conduct performance review meetings to address performance gaps, develop learning plans, share and recognise performance achievements, targets and goals, building a culture of excellence.About you To be considered for this position you will possess:
