Government - Local (Government & Defence) Full time Salary: $137,743 – $147,017 per year plus Superannuation
Location: District Council of Yankalilla, one hour's drive south of Adelaide's CBD.
The Manager Assets & Infrastructure leads the strategic asset management activities for Council which includes:
Implementing and reviewing asset management plans, systems, processes, programs Providing guidance and professional advice for asset life cycle management in line with Council's strategic plans and budgets Imparting specialist advice to staff and key stakeholders Ensuring Council meets all obligations regarding Infrastructure Asset Management. Key areas of responsibility across the portfolio include:
Strategic Asset Management Contract Management Operational Management Learning and Development Championing the Organisational Safety. Qualifications: Civil Engineering qualification and/or significant demonstrable experience in a similar role leading Assets and Infrastructure teams in a complex fast-paced environment will be essential. Local Government sector knowledge will be highly regarded.
A sound knowledge of Asset Management Strategy and effective engagement with Elected Members and other key stakeholders as a subject matter expert will be key to success in this role. Well-developed communication skills, strong attention to detail, and living the TIDE values of Teamwork, Integrity, Deliver and Enjoy will be essential.
