About the role
Leading the Asset Planning team, this role is responsible for the technical advice, support and planning to Parks Victoria staff and external stakeholders on built assets and infrastructure. The position ensures that the programs of work delivered by the Asset Planning function align with emerging strategic issues impacting the operational environment, relevant regulatory requirements and the AMAF framework.

The position will work closely with regional planners, external engineering consultants, infrastructure capital projects team, District Managers, Regional Directors, Director of Facilities and Asset Management, EMT and other Land Management Department and Agencies to prioritize capital investment for repair and replacement of the Significant Built Assets portfolio.
We're looking for someone with:
Proven experience in asset life cycle management, developing Asset Management Plans, and delivering business reporting dashboards.
Strong analytical skills, with proficiency in Excel or visualization tools to manage and analyze large data sets.
Skilled in writing tenders, evaluating proposals, and managing contracts within government frameworks.
Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with experience leading teams and delivering training.
