About the Role... The Manager - Asset Management will work with the Senior Manager - Assets and Delivery to oversee the management of Playford's Asset Management framework, including the delivery of Asset Management Planning, Asset Data and Systems, GIS mapping, and forward works programs in line with Council's strategic objectives.
The position will provide leadership, mentoring and guidance to other team members within the Assets and Delivery department, and more broadly throughout the organisation to promote asset management best practice, and align asset management practices with agreed service levels.
Key Accountabilities of this position include: Create and maintain an engaged and connected environment for the Asset Management staff where individuals are coached and developed to support individual and the team's success.Deliver and maintain the Strategic Asset Management Plan and Asset Management Framework with a focus on continual improvement.Manage the delivery of the Asset Management Plans.Coordinate annual Asset renewal work plans in consultation with operational/ delivery teams and relevant managers across the organisation.Manage the formation and maintenance of a database of asset details that provides easily-accessible accurate information that is valuable to the business.Develop, review and implement asset management policies, procedures and practices.About You... You will be degree qualified and have experience in an asset management leadership role.
Your qualifications will be a Degree in Asset Management, Engineering or relevant field.
