Our client Aqwest is located in Bunbury and is going through a period of growth with a number of exciting new projects commencing.
They supply water to more than 35,000 customers in the Greater Bunbury area and are committed to providing sustainable, high-quality drinking water that consistently meets or exceeds customer's expectations.

The RoleOur client currently is looking for a Manager Asset Lifecycle to join the team who is responsible for Aqwest assets being operated and maintained safely, in an environmentally aware manner and to required quality standards. This role will lead a dedicated team of professionals and is a pivotal role within Aqwest. The successful candidate will need to show experience in the ability to lead development and implementation of Asset focused projects and programs.
This role involves:
Lead strategic asset planning for the organisation ensuring customer, stakeholder and community requirements are incorporated into all asset investment decisions;Lead development and implementation of the Asset Investment Plan, Capital Delivery Program, and Asset Management System aligned to ISO55000;Lead development and maintain industry networks and initiate research and development activities to maintain awareness of leading industry practices and improvement opportunities;Ensure that Aqwest is well positioned to expand its business activities into all parts of the water cycle;Provision of Leadership and technical support to the Team.The CandidateIn order to be successful in this role you will have:
Relevant tertiary qualification or equivalent operational experience;Asset Management and/or Project management qualifications/experience;Risk Management training/experience;The OfferThis is a permanent position located in Bunbury in a supportive and friendly team environment.
