The Delivery and Information team ensures the sustained health and maintenance of UniSuper's core systems and platforms - to provide high availability, stability and performance. We remain committed to partner with business units to provide business driven scale and simplification, guidance and delivery of the Enterprise Portfolio and technologies required to enable business capabilities and support the execution of UniSuper's Strategy.
The role
Step into an impactful role where you shape and lead the future of the Business Analyst Practice. This role will see you accountable for the overall leadership of the Analysis Practice, ensuring the highest service quality and effective resource management.
Additionally, this role will have end-to-end responsibility for managing the Analysis Practice, including:
Manage a best practice centre of excellence for business and process analysis.Define and maintain a target operating model to provide high-quality business and process analysis that supports and enables efficient project and business outcomes. This includes:Establish the 'front door' for business and process analysis with an aim to ensure the correct resourcing profile is on every project.Establishing repeatable processes and artefacts to ensure delivery by your teams to support the business in realising benefits.Maintain a capability matrix across the services to ensure core competencies are available and the highest service quality is maintained.Support the business with portfolio planning process by creating lean canvases for the new initiatives Lead and inspire capability uplift across the function ensure the team is trusted for their quality and high service offering.Monitor and actively manage the quality of your team's progress on operational, project and internal improvement initiatives.Ensure others contribute to organisation strategies by focusing them on the most critical priorities, measuring progress, and ensuring accountability against those metrics. About you
You will be an impactful leader striving for excellence, ensuring top-notch service quality and effective resource management. Develop and implement best practices, deliver timely and high-quality business and process analysis, and drive innovation to achieve efficient project outcomes.
We will expect you to have experience that covers:
Strong stakeholder engagement and questioning techniques (challenge the status quo)Experience in managing Business Analysis Management and Business Process Modelling Notation (BPMN)Strong understanding of the full SDLCStrong understanding of Superannuation products and systemsPeople and change leadership, engagement, and people developmentExperience in recruiting and hiring Business Analysts (BA) and Business Process Analysts (BPA) teamsExperience managing a large practice of BAs and BPAsExperience establishing a centre of excellence, driving standards and industry best practicesGood knowledge of business modelling and experience in business process designs and facilitationGood knowledge of business analysis requirements scope articulation in both traditional BRDs and Agile (EPICs/User Stories) methodsGood understanding of technical or system requirements analysis and scope articulation
