In our continuous effort to expand our impact, we are seeking a dedicated and skilled Leader to head up our growing sustainability advisory business.The Manager of Sustainability Advisory is a key member of our dynamic team, responsible for the provision of services to our growing customer base. The position is diverse, requiring an understanding of sustainability practices within the property sector, carbon reduction strategies, reporting, and independent ratings tools. The role will include (but is not limited to) the following:Sustainability Reporting:Assist in preparing sustainability reports on greenhouse gas reduction, renewable energy use, and environmental impacts for commercial and industrial clients. Oversee sustainability programs like GreenStar and UDIA Enviro Develop, manage energy rating services (NATHERS and Section J certification), and guide clients on sustainability trends and reporting standards. Additionally, support businesses in adopting required practices and manage environmental certificate programs.Client Development and Management:Work with the business development team to identify property sector opportunities, prepare proposals and presentations, and participate in client meetings, providing technical insights to address client needs and showcase service benefits.Market Analysis and Research:Conduct market research to identify trends, emerging technologies, and competitors, and analyse data and customer feedback to propose strategies for improving services and offerings. Analyse energy consumption data to identify efficiency opportunities and renewable energy integration potential for clients, using energy models and simulations to evaluate the feasibility and economic viability of proposed solutions.Financial and Economic Evaluations:Conduct financial analyses, including cost-benefit and ROI calculations, to support renewable energy projects, collaborating with finance teams to ensure accurate projections and compliance with financial metrics.Collaboration and Coordination:Work with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless project execution while providing analytical support and insights to drive continuous improvement and innovation.Who we are looking for:The successful candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in either Engineering, Business, Finance, Economics, Environmental Science, or a related field (an advanced degree preferred). Experienced in business development, market analysis, and data analytics, from a renewable energy or sustainability background. Proven experience in a consulting role with strong skills in crafting compelling proposals and professional presentations tailored to client needs. A good understanding of GBCA, NATHERS, NCC, and related rating tools, with strong analytical skills, combined with a good knowledge of renewable energy technologies and energy markets.
