About the roleNegotiate, recommend, and monitor service levels between business / product owners and outsourced service providers to ensure services are delivered to a prescribed quality and agreed timeframe, supporting a robust financial reporting process.Design and execute effective and efficient controls to mitigate outsourcing and related IT/data risks so that the function operates within risk appetite and complies with risk and outsourcing policies.Establish and maintain robust governance frameworks and control mechanisms to oversee the completion of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial accounting operations.Manage change processes that support continuous improvement in the service delivery model, including process and control improvement initiatives, changes to service levels, catalogues, system enhancements and service providers.Ensure actual or emerging risks and issues are proactively identified, communicated and appropriately managed. About youTertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline and certification as a Chartered Accountant (CA).Extensive experience in a financial control and assurance function with reporting responsibilities.Comprehensive knowledge of and ability to apply Australian accounting and other relevant industry standards.Ability to interpret and analyse complex information, extract meaningful insights, and evaluate options for decision making.Demonstrated evidence of technical proficiency with systems, software, databases, presentation, reporting and communication tools.Proven capability to manage change through the initiation and promotion of organisational transformation.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
