Leadership role - Salary Commensurate with Experience Ultimo, Sydney and Parramatta Location Engage and build audiences with compelling content The Role ABC Local Radio in Sydney has a leadership role available which is responsible for leading and managing local metro activities and community engagement.
This role will be permanent, working from both our Ultimo and Parramatta offices.
The Job: Manage program direction for ABC Radio Sydney through the selection, evaluation and scheduling of content to attract, engage and build linear and digital audiences Provide leadership in developing new audio programs Lead ABC community engagement and stakeholder management in the market Oversee the management of operational resources and budgets Provide team leadership and direction to ensure strategic objectives are met Build and maintain strong effective relationships, both internally and externally About You We are looking for a creative leader with an analytical eye who has experience in successfully influencing and directing strategic development in a complex stakeholder environment.
You will also have extensive senior management experience, with a strong understanding of the dynamic media industry and the ability to lead multi-disciplinary teams and change projects at scale in a large complex matrix environment.
You'll have exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with proven experience establishing rapport, credibility and collaborative relationships with key internal and external stakeholders.
You're passionate about storytelling and technological developments in media, and their potential to enrich the experience of audiences and connect communities.
