We're seeking a skilled Business Consultant to join our team, supporting Cadgroup on the national level. Based in Melbourne, this role reports directly to the Corporate BD Manager.
As the Cadgroup Consultant, you'll support and deliver the Cadgroup strategy for Australia to grow our customer base through the technology solutions Cadgroup offers.

Task & ResponsibilitiesCollaborate with Corporate BD Managers winning work by leading or contributing to pitch and bid processes, directed at Construction and Engineering firms.Manage and maintain corporate content in firm systems and provide training on their use to the Corporate practice.Respond to national requests for Cadgroup experience, credentials, and reports to support work-winning activities.Assist in preparing submissions and supporting national strategic priorities.Conduct research, analysis, and preparation of reports, presentations, and client or product line insights.Contribute to firm-wide BD projects and initiatives as needed and collaborate effectively with BD teams across practice groups to meet shared objectives.Qualification & Experience1+ years' experience in a business development role with particular expertise in pitching and developing high-quality written content in the construction industry with the relevant qualifications.An undergraduate degree in accounting, commerce, business or a related discipline.Knowledge, experience and understanding of the different construction practice areas, sectors and markets within our Corporate practice group are desirable.The ability to quickly gain an understanding of the overall business practice of the corporation is essential.Project management skills, as well as experience in managing pitches and bids.Demonstrated sound organisational, planning, delegation and project administration skills.Proven ability to think ahead, understand and manage priorities and stakeholders and work under pressure to meet deadlines.Enthusiastic, proactive and strong work ethic with a willingness to accept ownership of and follow up on tasks without prompting.Able to travel nationally, up to three weeks per month.Excellent attention to detail.Professional and commercial approach to business, with the ability to work independently as well as part of a broader national team.High level of personal integrity, initiative, and collegiality.About CompanyFor over 34 years, Cadgroup's Services Team has continuously assisted our customers in getting the best out of technology.
