The ChallengeReporting into the CFO, your key responsibilities will include:
Assist the Head of Finance with monthly forecasting and annual budgetMonth end processes including recognition, cost tracking and reconciliationsReview results to understand variances between actuals and targets, working with the operational finance team to report on key metrics.Provide assistance to the Head of Finance on a range of issues from accounting advice to financial systems supportMonthly cashflow reporting and planning.Assist with yearly audits.Ad hoc finance related decision support and innovative solutions to the finance functions.The ExpertisePlease consider expressing interest in this position if you possess the following:
Relevant tertiary qualifications and experience in accountingYou are CA/CPA qualifications or equivalent. Ideally you started your career in a reputable chartered firm and have since made your first move out into the sports/events sector.
