We are currently seeking a highly skilled and motivated Management Accountant to join our dynamic team.
This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the financial success of our organization while gaining valuable experience in a fast-paced environment.Your day will involve: Ensure the timely and accurate completion of month-end activities, including financial and transaction reporting, reconciliations and analysis.Perform detailed variance analysis to identify key drivers of financial performance and provide insights to stakeholders.Utilize financial data and analysis to provide valuable business insights and support decision-making at all levels of the organization.Conducting business unit Profit and Loss reviews, alongside the commercial finance team members.Assist with the development and management of comprehensive budgets and forecasts to support strategic planning and decision-making.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and drive cost-saving initiatives and programs throughout the organization.Engage in transactional and commercial finance activities, including financial planning and analysis tasks, to support business objectives with key internal stakeholders.Ensuring all Accounting processes comply with Boral Accounting policies and accounting standards.Providing timely and quality advice, analysis and information on Management Accounting related issues, including adhoc analysis to relevant stakeholders.What are we looking for?University degree and CA or CPA qualified with a minimum of 3 years accounting experience.Exposure and experience with a major financial system.Customer service delivery experience, with proven stakeholder relationship management skills.Experience working towards tight deadlines and handling competing priorities.Advanced MS Excel and exposure to Oracle ERP (desired).Good attention to detail required to communicate monthly reporting, journals & budgets.Driven to achieve excellence and pursue professional growth opportunities.A can-do attitude with a willingness and ability to work in a demanding, constantly changing environment.Committed to maintaining a safe and secure work environment for all team members.Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities and business needs.What's on offer?Organisation dedicated to health, safety and the environment.Equal Opportunity Employer - Indigenous candidates are encouraged to apply.Ongoing mentoring and guidance from outstanding industry leaders and colleagues.Genuine career growth opportunities within Boral Australia.Access to a variety of support networks including Boral Employee Assistance Program.About Boral QuarriesBoral is Australia's leading quarry operator, with 76 quarries, sand pits and gravel operations, supplying about 30 million tonnes of product annually.
