About the roleWe are looking for an experienced Management Accountant to support and partner our Leeton and Wangaratta Petfood Manufacturing facilities providing financial accounting support and internal control monitoring including month end and period end close.
As a true business partner you will support and partner Site Managers to report and influence positive results and provide financial and management team guidance.
The role can be based at either Wangaratta or Leeton.

Key responsibilities:Month end Reporting & Control providing insights and analysis of site performanceAccurate monthly close with consideration for appropriate provisions and accrualsVariance analysis – Shop Floor Control reporting and analysis (PDR)Improve reporting to meet user requirements to aide in decision makingManage budget process for accurate site conversion costs and coordinate manufacturing BOM and routing reviewsBalance Sheet accuracy of Provisions & AccrualsFixed Asset validations About YouYou have the capability to build positive relationships, embody trust and respect and deliver sound commercial advice.
You are decisive in your problem-solving approach, have excellent communication skills, and you are a natural influencer.
Skilled at true business partnering, you are service oriented and focused on achieving positive outcomes.
You also have:Bachelor level degree in Business, Finance; CA/CPA qualifications are desirable2-3 years minimum management accounting experienceSkills and experience in month end, forecasting and budgeting processesExperience in a similar environment highly regardedSkills in Excel and SAPSkills in planning systems and inventory management is desirable.
