Management Accountant

Management Accounting & Budgeting (Accounting) Full time Add expected salary to your profile for insights This role will form part of the core Finance and administrative function at Eastern Guruma and will oversee accounts team.Monitor company expenditures and oversee accurate recording of transactions.Oversee transactional accounts team AP/AR functions.End of month reconciliation.Oversee tax lodgements e.g. BAS, PAYG, FBT.Assist Financial Controller to build annual budgets and company reporting.Support with implementation plan to develop our finance function.Experience within a similar roleComputer literate with proven operational management accountant experience and highly competent Excel skills.Degree in Accounting, Commerce, Business, Finance or related fieldAdditional certifications – Either CPA of CA8+ years financial exposure with at least 3+ years as a management accountant.Demonstrated time management skills to keep to strict deadlines.Previous experience working within medium to large engineering company (highly desirable)Exceptional ability to communicate verbally and in writing effectively across all levelsDesire to mentor and support team growth.Be Australian Permanent Resident or Australian National with full working rightsBe able to pass a pre-employment medical including drug and alcohol screenIf you would like some further information please contact Ronan Boyle on 0498 509 656 for a confidential discussion.Why work for us?We are one of Australia's most successful Aboriginal business that is 100% owned by members of the traditional owner group Eastern Guruma.
