About the Role This full-time role and is located 4 days a week in Geelong.
The successful canddiate will be required to travel to the Melbourne CBD once a week.
As a Management Accountant, you will support their Finance Lead with financial and reporting responsibilities.
As a Management Accountant, you will play a key role in driving financial insights that support strategic decision-making Duties: Perform accounting tasks in an accurate and timely manner Work closely with the Financial Controller and Chief Financial Officer to ensure that the profit and loss and balance sheet being presented to the Board Assist with the submission of various compliance as and when required.
End of Month tasks: preparation of end of month journals, accruals and prepayments Assist with the preparation of Business Unit P&L and Balance Sheets Monthly Management Reporting Attend to billing queries from project teams, provide credits and follow up on missing billings Assisting head office Finance team with finance queries and requests Skills and Experience Tertiary degree in accounting, business or similar CPA/CA qualified or working towards Experience in a similar role Previous experience working in an accounting firm is highly regarded Experience working with operations team, and non-financial stakeholders Knowledge of Construction industry will prove beneficial Advanced skills in Excel and proficiency across IT Attentive to detail, can manage time well and great organisation skills HOW TO APPLY.
