Management Accountant – Wroxham Are you a proactive and hands-onManagement Accountantlooking for a new challenge? Reporting directly to the Finance Director, you'll be playing a key role in the day-to-day financial operations, using your expertise in Xero and Excel to manage the company's finances and support strategic decisions.
Key Responsibilities: Prepare and produce monthly management accounts, ensuring timely and accurate reporting to the Finance Director. Oversee day-to-day financial operations, including cash flow management, bank reconciliations, and ledger maintenance. Support with budgeting and forecasting, providing insightful financial analysis to inform business strategy. Perform variance analysis to highlight trends, risks, and opportunities. Manage and review the preparation of VAT returns and ensure compliance with HMRC regulations. Assist with year-end accounts and liaise with external auditors when required. Maintain and improve financial controls and processes to support the growth of the business. Engage in ad-hoc financial projects and initiatives to drive cost efficiencies and operational improvements. Skills Needed: Proven experience as a Management Accountant in a hands-on role. Excellent attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with teams across the business. Proactive and driven, with a passion for process improvement and financial accuracy. Desirable: Part or fully qualified in ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or similar accountancy qualifications.
