Traralgon, West Gippsland & Latrobe Valley VIC Management Accounting & Budgeting (Accounting) Edward Mann is recruiting a Management Accountant for a large Australian primary industry business based in the Traralgon region.The primary responsibility of this position will be to ensure the accuracy and timeliness of management reports, budgets, forecasts, and oversight of accounting staff.They are willing to pay up to 115k + Super for the right candidates and potentially more for exceptional people.Responsibilities:Management Reporting: Prepare monthly management accounts for assigned entities, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.Budgeting and Forecasting: Establish and monitor budgets and forecasts for assigned entities. Prepare quarterly forecasts and coordinate the entities budget.Financial Coordination: Coordinate quarterly reviews, liaise with onsite managers regarding results, budgets, and reforecasts, and manage the Region's capital expenditure/fixed asset register.Financial Processes: Manage the accounting system and continually improve financial processes and reporting systems.Staff Management: Manage and develop staff through allocating work, providing feedback, developing performance KPIs and performance coaching/reviews.Project Participation: Participate in ad hoc finance or operational projects as required.The Ideal Candidate will have experience with:CPA/CA qualified or equivalent, those studying/or qualified by experience will also be considered.Experience with budgeting, forecasting, and management reporting.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders.Ability to travel as required.Independent and proactive approach in addressing financial challenges and driving initiatives to improve business performance.Provide leadership and direction to the finance team, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.Challenge existing practices and provide constructive feedback to senior management, including the General Manager, on areas for improvement and optimisation.For more information, please apply ASAP.Edward Mann Ltd acts as an employment business for temporary positions and an employment agency for permanent positions.
