This immediate start role will suit an experienced Management Accountant who is seeking an opportunity to extend their experience to a growing and prosperous sector and gain the opportunity to become a long term member of the team.Client DetailsMy client is a growing and well sustained business servicing the mining and resources sector both here in Australia and internationallyDescriptionResponsible for recording & analysing inventory stock take reports, and liaising with Operations to investigate discrepancies as part of month end closeResponsible for the timely preparation and reporting of operational KPIsEnsure integrity of revenue and cost by analysing general ledger and recording accruals as requiredEnsure compliance with SoX related controlsResponsible for preparation of Balance Sheet reconciliations for specific accounts / entitiesProvide business partnering and decision support to the operations including development and preparation of financial analyses and models where effectively communicate, resolve and expedite issues with Operational Managers and Corporate regarding purchase orders, cost control and GL coding, approval of asset purchases and inventory managementTo ensure all financial policies, procedures and processes are strictly implemented and adhered to, ensuring the highest standards of ethics and financial propriety, taking immediate action if any non-compliance is discovered.Other ad hoc duties as requested by your Manager.ProfileTo be successful in this role, it is essential that you are coming from a similar position in a congruent industry or sector.
