Management Accountant

Opportunity to join prominent education based organisation. Reporting to the Head of Finance you will be an integral part of a team of financial professionals. Your role will involve providing top-tier financial management services including budgeting, proactively updating forecasts and providing financial insights to the business. Key responsibilities include the following Financial and revenue services to internal stakeholders Budget preparation, forecasting, financial modelling Delivering management accounting services, preparing budgets and forecasts for research grants/contracts, generating reports Ensuring compliance with funding regulations Maintaining financial systems Organize financial acquittals for external funding bodies  Support business decision-making through insightful analysis, identifying trends and opportunities. Contribute to the continuous improvement of financial management practices and procedures. To be successful in acquiring this role you need the following skills and attributes: Relevant tertiary qualifications along with CPA or CA status Extensive management accounting experience Excellent stakeholder engagement skills Relevant experience in technical and administrative fields In-depth understanding of financial management, policies, standards, and legislative requirements. Analytical and critical thinking skills
