The successful candidate will join the finance team in an organisation that delivers complex projects to the best public and private companies along with state and federal governments Australia wide.This is a full-time permanent position, with a competitive salary package that is reflective of the role and the candidate's experience.ResponsibilitiesReporting to the Finance Manager, you will be responsible for:Preparation of month end reporting including journals and balance sheet reconciliations;Preparation of annual statutory financial statements and other compliance, including Income Tax, FBT, GST, Payroll Tax, PAYG and WorkCover;Assisting with Project financial historical and forecast financials;Developing improvements to processes and procedures around the month end process;Assisting with Annual Audit;End to end accounting of Joint Venture including processing and banking.Candidate RequirementsRelevant financial/accounting qualification (essential);CA or CPA qualification (or studying for) (desired);Advanced Microsoft Excel skills;High level of attention to detail;Strong time management and ability to achieve deadlines;Excellent communication skills both verbal and written with the ability to interact with financial and non-financial stakeholders.Our CompanyEstablished in 1992, we have a reputable history in the civil, mining, and agricultural industries, built from delivering quality results for our clients.
