As part of the finance team, you'll have the opportunity to contribute to the company's financial management and strategic planning.Seeking a highly skilled Management Accountant with a strong background in manufacturing and exceptional analytical and financial management abilities. In this key role, you will support the finance team by handling critical management accounting tasks, including the preparation of consolidated financial reports, budgeting, forecasting, and conducting detailed financial and cost analysis.The client is willing to pay up to 120k + Super for exceptional candidates. This will be a 5 day in office role but flexible around start and finish times due to family obligations.Key Responsibilities:Prepare monthly management accounts for group entities, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.Lead timely and accurate month end and year end closing, reconciling accounts, and addressing issues collaboratively.Maintain the financial budget and manage reports for tracking costs against budgets.Maintain monthly BOM costs.SAP process improvement and pricing review.Coordinate quarterly reviews, liaise with managers regarding results, budgets, and reforecasts, and manage the expenditure/fixed asset register.Handle Tax including (BAS, FBT, GST) and compile Monthly Management reports for the Board pack.Oversee accounts payable and account set up.Participate in ad hoc finance or operational projects as required.Qualifications and Experience:Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.CPA or CA qualification preferred.Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in management accounting, preferably within the manufacturing sector.Strong proficiency in financial software and advanced Excel skills (SAP and Xero ideally).Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.Strong attention to detail and ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines.Effective communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.For more information please apply ASAP.#J-18808-Ljbffr
