Management Accountant

Management Accounting & Budgeting (Accounting) Full time McDermott Aviation is Australia's largest privately owned Heli-Aviation company, operating from bases across Australia, Europe and the USA and home to the world's largest fleet of the most powerful, single engine, twin bladed helicopter – the Bell 214B. We provide Aerial Fire Fighting, Emergency Assistance, Charter and Helicopter lifting services and support.
The Role Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer, you will provide insight and analysis and financial modelling, enabling more informed decision making to support strategic growth.
Responsibilities Preparation of management reports and analysis of variances against budgets and forecasts.Collate data and develop models to assist in budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning.Support the development of the annual budget and monitor performance.Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards, assisting with audits as required.Maintain foreign exchange schedules and assist with emissions project work.Support the commencement of emissions project work.About You Tertiary Qualifications in Business or Commerce supported with CPA/CA accreditation.
Excellent financial modelling skills and experience.Emissions and reporting knowledge and experience highly regarded.Foreign exchange knowledge and experience valued attributes.Professional Accounting experience, preferably within the Aviation Industry or an Industrial/Manufacturing environment.Exceptional attention to detail, time management skills and an analytical mindset.High level proficiency with accounting software and Microsoft Office.If you are a Finance Professional looking to develop your career with a growing and dynamic business, we look forward to talking to you!
