Operating in the mining services industry, this company offers a fantastic opportunity for professional growth and development.Role Overview:As Management Accountant, you will be reporting to the Financial Controller.Your responsibilities will include:Prepare and analyse financial statements, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.Manage the external audit process and coordinate the completion of statutory audits.Oversee the accuracy and efficiency of all financial transactions, including accounts payable and receivable.Perform regular reconciliations of balance sheet accounts to ensure financial integrity.Provide accurate and timely financial reports to support operational and strategic decision-making.Prepare and allocate costs for specific business units or projects, ensuring proper cost management.Assist in the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and financial plans.Support the implementation of financial controls and procedures to ensure compliance with company policies.Monitor financial performance and identify areas for improvement or cost-saving initiatives.Collaborate with internal departments to provide financial insights and support business operations.Ensure the timely completion of financial reporting obligations to external stakeholders and funding bodies.Maintain up-to-date knowledge of financial regulations and industry best practices to ensure compliance.Your Profile:A minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role, with proficiency in using ERP systems.Strong understanding of accounting standards.High level of accuracy, attention to detail, and discretion in handling sensitive information.Ability to build strong internal relationships.
