In this role, you will play a critical part in supporting financial decision-making and ensuring compliance with government regulations and policies.
Job DescriptionPrepare and analyse financial reports, budgets, and forecasts to support strategic planning.Monitor financial performance and provide insights to enhance operational efficiency.Ensure compliance with financial regulations, policies, and standards.Collaborate with various departments to provide financial guidance and support.Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and financial statements.Conduct variance analysis and recommend corrective actions.Support audits and liaise with external auditors as needed.Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the finance function.
The Successful ApplicantExperience in management accounting and financial analysis, reporting and budgetingRelevant tertiary qualification in finance and accounting with a CA or CPA qualificationPrior experience in public sector is preferredProficiency in SAP with strong modelling skillsExcellent analytical skills with an attention to detailStrong communication and stakeholder management skills What's on OfferLeading industry payFlexible working arrangementsConvenient Western Sydney location
