This full-time role provides crucial support and delivery of accurate reporting and analysis in line with accounting standards, regulations, contracts & decision-making - mainly working with our Supporter Impact team.
Working 3 days a week from our brand-new purpose-built workspace nestled at Milton's Park Road, and accessible by multiple public transport options, join a respectful, transparent, and collaborative team at MS Queensland where values are at the core.
A 4-day, 30-hour week option is also available, if that's right for you!
Additionally, you will: Prepare timely monthly financial reports and variance analysis Improve efficiency across systems like Raiser's Edge and Xero Handle requests for new bank accounts, payment platform changes, event terminals, and cash floats Assist in annual budgeting and quarterly forecasts Manage financial administration of lotteries and grant-funded activities Liaise with internal and external stakeholders Guide staff to achieve functional objectives through coaching Foster a positive team environment encouraging collaboration Develop team capability through mentoring and training About you: Minimum 2 years post-qualification experience, with 2 years in a similar role in medium to large organisations Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Commerce Current CPA or CA certification Expertise in financial and regulatory aspects of lotteries, grants, and fundraising Proficient in accounting software like Xero Strong attention to detail and accuracy in fast-paced environments Excellent planning, time management, and problem-solving skills for multiple deadlines Self-motivated with high accountability and initiative Outstanding interpersonal skills for consulting stakeholders at all levels Why MSQ?
