Management Accounting & Budgeting (Accounting)
Arrowquip is seeking a passionate and skilled Management Accountant to join our office in Tamworth, NSW.
You will be responsible for providing management with relevant information to facilitate decision-making through performance-based financial reporting, asset valuation, budgetary systems, cost management, pricing, and forecasting.
This role demands a high level of commitment to best practices, customer service, and problem-solving abilities.
You must be self-motivated and proactive.
As a Management Accountant, you will analyse historical financial data to estimate future revenues and expenses, create budgets, and generate internal reports for planning decisions.
You will also coordinate with external parties to issue reports for auditors, shareholders, and regulatory agencies.

Key Responsibilities
Prepare monthly management reports tracking financial performance against budget and provide commentary to the CCO.
Create cashflow forecasts, conduct variance analysis, and play a lead role in compiling the annual budget with the CCO.
Perform financial modelling, cost estimating, and examine operating costs and income, presenting recommendations to management.
Conduct financial investigations, audits, and prepare financial statements for presentation to boards, management, shareholders, and statutory bodies.
Oversee month-end accounting, including reconciliations, journals, bookkeeping, and payroll, assist in formulating budgetary policies, and support the finance team on an ad hoc basis.
3-5 years experience in forecasting and budgeting, including inventory control, in a manufacturing environment.
Tertiary qualifications in accounting, finance, and/or business management.
Knowledge of accounting principles and relevant standards.
Proven ability to analyse complex reports, proficiency in MS Office and accounting software.
Excellent communication skills, time management, organisational skills, problem-solving abilities, and a strong record of delivering high-quality customer service.
