About the role The primary focus of the role is to support the Group's financial reporting, compliance obligations and financial risk management. We are seeking an ambitious individual who can be a future finance leader within the organisation. The ideal candidate should possess a sense of responsibility and ownership and be eager to learn in a fast-paced environment.
Role responsibilities Accounting & Reporting: Ensure timely and accurate month end closurePreparation of monthly consolidated financial reportsEnsure all statutory reporting completed with relevant accounting standardsSupport annual group audit and liaise with external auditors in preparing annual reports including AFSL auditLiaise with key stakeholders on P&L related inquiries and provide support in planningAssist with annual planning and monthly forecastingSupport with liquidity and cash flow managementTax & Compliance: Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual tax reporting requirementsSupport with annual R&D tax incentive submissionsManage various annual ATO submissionsInternal Control and Processes: Working with the broader finance team for process optimisation, and implementation of controls for financial and operational requirementsSupport with financial risk managementYour attributes Loves challenging the status-quoAbility to work autonomously yet collaborativelyHigh level of communication skills and the ability to engage a wide range of stakeholdersAbility to work with local team and offshore teamStrong communication and interpersonal skills with a demonstrated track record of building relationships with key internal stakeholdersHigh attention to detailA problem solver and methodical thinkerDisciplined and organisedQualifications and experience 2+ years of industry experienceAdvanced Excel skillsSQL experience is a bonusCA/CPA qualificationHow we work Our team thrives on the energy of being together.
