Management Accountant

Summary: Oversee financial management, analyze data, generate reports, and provide insights to guide strategic decision-making for a fast-growing retail organization.
Key Responsibilities:Prepare, analyze, and report on financial performance, including budgets, forecasts, and cash flow statements.Develop and maintain financial models for budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning.Monitor and advise on cost control and profitability improvements across all locations.Assist with month-end and year-end financial closing activities, including reconciliations and journal entries.Produce management reports and present financial insights to senior leadership to support decision-making.Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulations.Support external and internal audit activities as needed.Identify financial risks and opportunities for improvement.Collaborate with other departments to ensure financial alignment with business objectives. Qualifications:Qualification in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.CPA, CA, or membership with a recognized accounting body preferred.3-5 years of experience in a management accounting role.Strong knowledge of accounting principles, budgeting processes, and financial reporting.Proficiency in accounting software.Advanced Excel skills and financial modeling expertise.Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
