About the role The Management Accountant is part of the Corporate Services Unit and reports to the General Manager Finance & Business.
The position requires you to provide assistance in maintaining annual budget information, preparation of budgets for Managers and Tenders, preparation and analysis of monthly financial reporting, preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual acquittals, preparation of journals for income and expenditure, provide financial report analysis support to managers, funding reconciliations and performance monitoring, review of systems and processes to ensure efficient use of resources, other duties as required including accounts payable and receivable.
This is a Full-time opportunity based in South Melbourne within our Corporate Services Program.
The position reports to the General Manager Finance and Business.
Key Selection Criteria: To be successful in this role, you will have: Excellent accounting and financial management skills and a demonstrated ability to read and understand complex financial statements and reporting.
Demonstrated capacity to produce a variety of financial reports and acquittals.
Demonstrated capacity to complete funding and other reconciliations.
Strong attention to detail and excellent time management skills with the ability to meet tight deadlines.
