Located at our vibrant Mount Waverley Office, you will join a strong team of Management Accountants, and tasked with managing forecasting & budgeting across Victoria.
Travel to our regional offices may be required.
Reporting to the Head of Commercial Finance, your responsibilities will include: Maintaining rolling forecasts for each project and business unit and provide inputs into group cash flow forecastingPartnering with the management team to support and advise on operational and strategic decision making and drive key initiatives and performancePresenting financial results and commentary to the management team and directorsResponsibility for financial accounting and reporting, budgeting/forecasting and the planning processEnsure KPI's are in place to drive staff performance, accountability and encourages a culture that delivers on performance metricsIdentifying opportunities for better overhead reporting including benchmarking with other Metricon business unitsMonitor and identify overhead cost saving opportunitiesPartnering with Operation Managers to improve key drivers of operational and workflow efficiencyPartnering with Construction Managers to improve key drivers of construction efficiency and drive revenue improvement; andIdentifying opportunities for better operational and construction reporting and creating and maintain reports with the reports team.

The successful candidate will have: Must have successfully completed CA/CPA qualificationsExtensive experience as a Management Accountant or a min.
of 6 years in an accounting position within a fast-paced environmentSkills and experience within a large financial system as well as an intermediate level of experience with excelAbility to work to deadlines, effectively time manage and flexibility to adapt to workload volumesStrong communication and interpersonal skills for dealing with key stakeholders at all levels (Financial & Non Financial).
